I just got a call from a fellow pilot, telling me that there is a brand new SR22 on the field at O69 Petaluma, CA, where I’m a student pilot.
He knows that I have #204 on order and figured, quite correctly, that I would be excited.
I looked up the tail number and it says it’s new as of 8/19/01 and it’s owned by a Texas finance company.
Does anyone know the pilot? I’d REALLY like to chat with him and take a look at the plane.
Today I spoke with the pilot for 1 minute just before he took off - I think he said his name was William. He picked up the plane in Duluth a week ago and flew here via Wyoming and Reno. He’s touring the USA with his family and then will wrap up the trip in Spain. Not bad for a brand new plane!
