Nose Gear Shimmy

I’m having a related problem. I get a shuddering sensation on takeoff as the SR22 passes through 110-120 kts. It goes away after that. It’s bad enough that I’ve aborted the mission and returned to the airfield. I’m at a field that has an A&P but is not a certified Cirrus repair facility. They took a look at it and it appears the bracket on the nose gear assembly where it attaches to another bracket on the firewall is the problem. On the other side the bracket has no play in it when you shake the nose gear assembly. On the affected side you can see definite movement. Almost as if the hole in the bracket is worn and has enlarged. I’m flying to the nearest Cirrus facility soon to have it disassembled. More to follow…

Nose wheel spin down as well creates a resonance vibration at 600 ft AGL.

Check the tire for out of balance condition. There have been a few with a debonded internal balance weight.
