Speculation: might fulfill CD’s March production goal of 1 plane every 4 days (following delivery of s/n 1023 on 3/3/00). Seven deliveries for the month of March would not seem out of the question given all the hiring that’s taken place.

What a bummer! On about March 13 I downloaded the latest FAA database (22MB zipped) which had been uploaded that day. It contained nothing new. It seems they put a new Zip file on there with the same data as the previous month! There was a new upload on 14 March with the latest stuff.
I’ll put these new numbers in the Planes page (about time I turned it into a database, I think).
Incidentally, Cirrus advise the FAA of S/N and N number info well in advance of the build date (the N numbers are pre-allocated in blocks). But more than likely the build rate is catching up.
