Dear Cirrus Owner/Pilot,

As your local Cirrus Training Center we are committed to introduce the latest and greatest that general aviation has to offer. We employ instructors that are familiar with your aircraft and understand the importance of your recurrence or upgrade. We follow the CIRRUS recommended syllabus for all transition/recurrency training.

The airlines and military have used level D simulators that allow the pilot to train in an environment that is safe, yet realistic. We have recently partnered with SimTrain. Wecan now provide you the same opportunity that airline and military pilots have used for the past 50 years. We are the only Cirrus Training Center in the northeast that can satisfy all your Cirrus training needs. Utilitizing SimTrain’s full motion Cirrus simulator will increase your skill and overall aircraft utilization.
Some insurance companies offer discounts for certain types of ground and flight training. Attending the Cirrus Initial/Recurrent in the full motion Cirrus type specific simulator may save you money on your insurance premium. Contact your insurance agent for more information.

“Insurance companies recognize the impact of simulator training devices too. Bob Conyers, Assistant Vice President of General Aviation Services for Global Aerospace adds, “The introduction of simulator-based training for Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) should enable owners of such aircraft to safely use TAA aircraft to their potential. As we have found with larger aircraft, simulator training allows the pilot and instructor to focus on scenarios that simply should not be conducted in a flying aircraft. The ability to identify a developing problem, stop its progress, provide instruction and remediate the situation is a significant training tool.”

The SimTrain Cirrus simulators will be able to replicate a SR22 or SR20 aircraft, and will additionally be able to simulate the Avidyne Entegra PFD or standard instrument displays. These simulators will also include a CAPS (Cirrus Airframe Parachute System) deployment scenario, and training programs will emphasize the decision making process leading to CAPS deployment.

The program will last until 5PM (FRIDAY) 6PM (SUNDAY) and arrangements for fly-in guests will be at no cost, space permitting (must be pre-arranged) with Certified Flyers II. (finger food and refreshments on Saturday). Cirrus Design Mobile Showroom will be onsite, as well as the latest Cirrus Sr22’s for demo.

VIP guest demos of the sim must be pre-booked.
