Yes, I know. I was enroute to France on Friday night and had just joined Jersey zone which controls that part of the English Channel when they handed N138CD over to Guernsey Approach.
That has got to be a Cirrus I thought, so I tuned my second box to to that frequency to hear him call SR20 inbound from Newfoudland.
I asked the conroller if I could talk across, we exchanged a few words and I carried on with my little two hour trip feeling rather humbled.
