I was typing a bunch of replies to a thread and ran into this error…
Huh? So I’ve reached my quota and have to wait until someone else replies to my post in the thread before I can post a fourth? That’s a very bizarre requirement. Every one of my posts are different and responding to different parts of the same thread. I guess if nobody responds I’m shut out of making comments to the thread. What gives?
This is part of a Rate Limit system our Forum software uses.
max_consecutive_replies is set to 3 by default in the system.
The work around it to Quote multiple previous reply’s in a single post.
you can also use <hr> as a line break, like this:
To insert a quote, select the text you wish to quote, then press the Quote button that pops up. Repeat for multiple quotes.
Tried that…didn’t work for me.

Such snarky replies do not actually help.
This “feature” has been around for a long time, and overall has done a great job on other forums powered by Discourse (which is the software we switched too).
