I continue to see references to a large sum of money being invested into CD. At times someone says it is going to happen, then later someone says it is not. I seem to have missed the etiology of this cash. Where is it coming from, does it imply ownership chage, or loss of control of the co. by the Klaps? If it doesn’t happen is the co. in immidiate jeapordy? Could someone please enlighten me? MIKE#396

Mike…
all I know is that for years they have had stock investors and now this is an institutional placement…
I have seen the prospectus…
and it is obviously more shares issued but
not really to many different investors but an institutional fund…
It was voted through by shareholders and like an IPO seeks a certain sum (of cash)with the placement …
I can’t really post the details but it i smore than double what they have raised in any other year and also reduces their dept and thus their debt payments helping cash flow…
they characterize it as taking them throughthe year and hopefully will cover breakeven which is said to be some time before that…

If I remember correctly the physical enacting of this was said to be at the ending period of this month (but don’t hold me to this)
Imagine an IPO that has a day scheduled where a private company all of a sudden raises a huge sum
of cash that is paid to it by the underwriters of the IPO and then sold to the public…
This is probably more like a fund selling shares to fundholders…
kind of complicated stuff…

This fund then holds a class of stock and in effect a percent of the company as represented by shareholders…much like the other investors in the company do…
