Is the screen size the same for the Arnav and Avidyne. The Arnav just looks bigger in the photos, so I ask.

Actually, they’re the same size. According to the specification sheets for the Arnav (http://www.arnav.com/Displays/icds2mfd.htmhttp://www.arnav.com/Displays/icds2mfd.htm) and the Avidyne (http://www.avidyne.com/_aopaexpo/FlightMaxEX5000.pdfhttp://www.avidyne.com/_aopaexpo/FlightMaxEX5000.pdf), both displays have 10.4-inch (diagonal) screens.
Same physical size but different screen resolution. The Arnav is 640 x 480 while the Avidyne is 800 x 600, so the Avidyne has over 50% more pixels.
Gordon: Actually, only 36% more, if the Arnav is 640 x 480 and the Avidyne is 800 x 600.
But, I thought that while the Arnav could display 640 x 480, the current software runs it at only 320 x 200.
Is that correct?

Steven means to say that the Arnav has 36% fewer pixels than the Avidyne, since (640x480)/(800x600) = 0.64. Gordon is correct: the Avidyne has 56% more pixels than the Arnav, since (800x600)/(640x480) = 1.5625.
