COPA doesn’t lack for smart people with great ideas. What we really need is more volunteers who are willing to make things happen! I was serious about joining the M13 Planning Team. Please think about it…
Speaking on behalf of the entire M12 Planning Team, you’re very welcome! I hope you enjoy Migration 12 and look forward to attending next year’s event, too.
CU @ M12!

PS - And, now it’s back to my regularly scheduled Migration activities. Although I type rapidly, unfortunately I have to actually think about what I type. But, sometimes I get to abandon my email in-box and make forum posts! [:D]
PPS - This morning I played hookey and even went flying for a bit. It wasn’t Cirrus time but fun nonetheless - had to get a checkout in a local club’s newish C-172 that a beginning PPL student intends to rent. We even managed to find our way back to the airport by just looking out the window. Amazing… [;)]
I’m a simple guy. I don’t always spend the time to decode the logic the software guys have built. I guess I didn’t know that I had to go REGISTRATION THAT I HAD TOTALLY DONE OVER A MONTH AGO.
My bad. Hell, I’m still learning the new features of iOS 8.0.
I never had concerns. Pierre and I kinda knew a western M would appeal to western COPAns, and ‘Vegas, Baby’ draws from all over. Thanks, Craig for not letting the flatlanders whine too many much [:’(]
The SW and NW are certainly the highest registered regions, but not as high as they should be giving the location of the migration. With only 24% of the members on the west coast. The West should be higher than they are.
Personally, I’m only drawing two conclusions from the data thus far:
More people attend Migration when it’s close to where they live. (Duh…)
If it wasn’t for the organizing work of some of our Regional Governors, we probably would not have the long-distance attendance that we anticipate! [Y]
