Paul & SherriÂ’s Lunch Bunch is heading to Muscle Shoals, Alabama (KMSL) next Saturday, March 15th. One of our local COPA members, along with EAA chapter 615 will be grilling burgers and hot dogs. Additionally, representatives from Angel Flight will be on hand to answer questions from anyone interested in learning more about the organization. The FBO manager will be giving a 25 cent discount on fuel. Plan on arriving by 11am local (CDT); cost will be $10 head.

ADDITIONALLY, the Georgia Flyers (our local social flying club) is heading to Nashville, TN March 28th – March 30th. You are cordially invited to join us for a weekend full of fun and adventure. Whether you would be interested in learning more about the Georgia Flyers or would just enjoy hanging out with a bunch of pilots and their families, we’d love to have you join us.
We’ll be meeting up Friday evening for a casual dinner at Caney Fork Fish Camp in the Opryland district. Saturday will be tours of Belle Meade Plantation and The Hermitage – Andrew Jackson’s home. Dinner will be at the Hermitage Smorgasbord downtown near the Grand Ole Opry. We’ll enjoy reserved seats at the world famous Grand Ole Opry for the 6:30 pm show after which we’ll return to our hotel. Breakfast Sunday morning will be at your leisure – the Drury Inn and Suites provides free shuttle service to/from Nashville Int’l (KBNA)
Cost for the entire weekend will be $185 / person, double occupancy; children under 12 are $90. This includes two nights lodging at the Drury Inn and Suites, two dinners (Fri & Sat. nights); tickets to both Belle Meade Plantation and The Hermitage; as well as tickets to the Grand Ole Opry. Breakfast Saturday and Sunday is included at the hotel. Transportation costs will be determined based on attendance and are not included in the above amount.

This trip will happen regardless of weather since Nashville is a reasonable driving distance from the Atlanta area where most of our members live.
