As a student pilot and in the early days of the internet, I happened to fall upon a site that allowed you to stream DFW Ground/Tower/Approach control. I’d listen to it for hours on end and I like to think it helped me to sound more like one of the “big boys” when working on the radio. I also think it helped me to “listen” for my tail number even when in a conversation with passengers.
This morning, I happened upon a great site that has TONS of streams you can listen to. Just thought I’d throw it out here just incase anyone is interested:
