Glare shield and dash sticky

Bought this off of Amazon. Worke far better than alcohol, goo off and all the other chemicals I purchased. I went through about 20 of the hard plastic (orange strips), but it worked!

I hope I’m correctly assuming the blade-length cut in the console wasn’t from that particular blade?:grimacing:

That’s the sticky snot like stuff that creates that sticky dash look! Zoom in on the picture, you’ll see what I’m talking about. No cuts, promise!

This is the co-pilot dash just below the side stick.

No kidding…I would never have guessed there was so much! I’m going to try your method….mine is in need.

I will look for the picture of a ball, the size of a baseball of this goop that I got off my panel - Crazy! It takes some time, and change the blade out often, as you get a strip going and that’s the ticket!

What can you expect when the part is only $ 8000

Yeah but think of the calorie burn I got from the 12 hours of scrubbing with alcohol!!! Glad that was easer.

Mine still looks like new so very happy with saving $7,900 and an aerobic workout.

I have a 2016 SR22T and also am frustrated with the sticky dash panels that scartch and scuff way too easily. Seems to be a well known issue with Cirrus. On my annual next month I am having the panels removed and redone with a different material. I will post pics when completed.
