Could someone please tell me what the little match-flame thingies symbolize?
They show how long a message has been on the board. The yellow flame indicates a recent posting, the red flame indicates one that has been been posted a little longer, a burnt out match longer still, and no match even longer.
Maybe Clyde can be more specific about how long each represents.

I’m not 100% sure myself, but basically a yellow match means it was posted today, red yesterday, and I presume burnt out the day before.
