Electronic Tach

EI will be listing its electronic tach on its approved model list for the SR-20. Why should anyone care? Well, the current Cirrus tach is not a recording one and you must rely on the Hobbs meter. The EI instrument begins recording tach time at apx 1300 rpm, plus it is highly accurate. The list price is around $500.

The Cirrus SR20 aircraft is not yet listed on our Approved Model List. However, we are in the process of updating our AML for the latest aircraft. I did research the SR-20 and the power plant used is a standard engine therefore, I can provide you with a letter stating that we are upgrading our documents and that the Cirrus SR-20 will be listed on our AML.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any more questions.

Thanks again,
