ARNAV Certification

I was at Osh Kosh and got into a certification discussion with Garmin about their GNS430 and how the software was written to level C according to DO-178B standards. That level requires higher certification levels than a “less than primary” electronic display. Does anyone know what level the ARNAV was certified to? And how much reliability I should put in the information displayed?

I think it’s safe to assume it meets the lowest level of the DO-178B requirements, which is appropriate for devices which have no effect on safety if they fail. This imposes very little in the way of software quality assurance requirements on the product.
