WX options for Avidyne R9

What are those with Avidyne R9 doing about WX come Jan 1, 2018 now that MLB700 is cancelling their assoc with Avidyne come Dec 31, 2017? I appreciate that FF with Stratus is an option, which I currently use now as a backup…

I’m in the same boat. Ideally a new XM receiver for R9 would be the solution. I doubt that is gonna happen.

My current thought is ADSB weather when they get the remote transponder sorted out (soon please!) to R9. Then I’ll swap my Stratus 2 for the ForeFlight XM receiver and have XM on the iPad essentially swapping what I do now.

I do prefer XM and will find a way even if portable to keep that.
