Lunch is at 12:30 at Pepper Garcia’s in the main terminal. Reservations are in my name for 25-30 people. Tina and I will be arriving earlier to socialize and ogle aircraft. At SBP I got this really cool picture of Tina sitting in the right seat of Ed’s 157CD, with her most winsome “SR20 Idiot Grin” and I aim to better it this time. Perhaps an SR22 Idiot Grin will be incrementally more dazzling…
Transient parking is in front of the “Airport Regency Hotel” at the southeast end of the airport, just about abeam the rwy 30 vasi lights. I should be able to establish on Monday whether the “Airport District” folks can cordon off a portion of it for the Cirrus aircraft. The person I spoke with did not dismiss the notion but asked me to call back on Monday when her boss would be there. I will do so and report back…
Keep those RSVP’s coming! Remember, we have to keep pace with our Northeast comrades, lest we reinforce our reputation as a bunch of laid back, wine-sipping wimps (remember SBA in April?).

Can those of us Cirrus-owners-to-be RSVP and be included in the total attendees as well? It seems fair enough, especially if we want to smoke the East Coast Crowd! Even though my delivery date is a year away, I’d love to mingle with current owners and put faces to the forum posts. You all have to promise not to hassle me for flying in in a rented Archer.

Yes of course! Most members of the People’s Revolutionary Cirrus Fly-In Committee (myself included) are position holders and/or wannabes. You might even see a few other unusual aircraft types, such as a 260se/stol or three!
I will mark you down as an RSVP, let me know by e-mail the #people in your group.
I’ll be there, natrually. Hopefully I’ll be flying my 260SE rather than still visiting it at Avionics West
