Weather or Not PIREP

I’m just back from attending the Baltimore, MD “Weather or Not” weather seminar given by Scott Dennstaedt. My PIREP is - go for it.

Scott informs his students about the many available tools for weather-guessing and also how to find them and interpret their data.

(Scott really isn’t sleep-talking.)

I now know more about weather and very much more about what I don’t know, and both are a good thing.

Thanks Marty. Really enjoyed all the good questions and great discussion (even if there was a Lancair owner in the crowd!).

Although, from the looks of that picture, I’m going to have to go on a diet! [;)] Here’s a little better picture of me with my eyes open.

Now will those of you in the Atlanta area PLEASE SIGN UP! I want to take this class and Scott needs a few more people to sign up. Considering the level of convective activity in the Atlanta area, I don’t believe I am the only one needing this class.

Marty,
I agree - I thought Scott’s course was very good! I come away not so much feeling like I know everything there is to know about weather now, but knowing a little bit more about some previously unfamiliar products out there and the background behind them - in other words, I feel like his course gave us the tools to learn much more about weather!
