I hope Cirrus gets us the payload increase by Christams. Now that FAA says it is OK to bring our friends along. Compliments of AVWEB
THE SWINE FLEW, AND THAT’S JUST DUCKY WITH THE FAA: Charlotte, the 300-pound Vietnamese pot-bellied pig, became a celebrity last month when US
Airways let her fly first class from Philadelphia to Seattle as a “companion animal” to a woman with a heart condition. The rationale was
that the pet pig helped to relieve her owner’s stress. The FAA said yesterday that US Airways acted perfectly properly and in accordance
with regulations. Now that the FAA says pigs can officially fly, we’ll be watching for the National Weather Service to report freezing
temperatures in Hell.
