Replacement of 10.4&quot of waist

May be not waist but look at what other companies are doing for such a low price http://bluemountainavionics.com/

Still possible to have a great day in a Cirrus

Cheers,

Assuming the engine monitoring works as advertised, and assuming they come out with traffic avoidance (TCAD or Skywatch) support in the near future, I might actually come to Arnav’s defense and say the display is pretty decent.

I’ve noticed when flying VFR I rarely need to look at the sectional anymore because of the info on the Arnav. The mapping function shows a lot more than the Garmins, just due to its size. Stormscope data is a nice plus too.

I think moving going toward a PFD-based cockpit rather than the steam gauges is a great idea but probably a few more years out (and Arnav has a product offering there too).

I’m not saying that there aren’t better products than the Arnav - just that as I gain more experience with it, I value it more and more…
