After careful consideration of all the debate concerning the relative merits of 28 April vs. 5 May, The People’s Revolutionary Cirrus Fly-In Committee has come to a decision: none of the above!
Here’s the deal: 19, 20, or 26 May. Very likely at SMX. Didn’t dare choose 12 May as it’s the day before Mother’s Day and I wanted my key to still work in the front door when I returned home. If you wish to express a preference, please let me know via e-mail by Wednesday 25 April. Thereafter we will make–how shall I say it?–a “Valiant” effort to decide upon a date which is compatible with the largest number of folks and make arrangements.
This could be the best Cirrus fly-in yet…at least two SR22s may show also!
Cheers, Kevin
Many thanks to The People’s Revolutionary Cirrus Fly-In Committee for setting up the next West Coast event!
They’re obviously a well-established group, since I’ve found some of their propaganda on the Web (http://www.physics.ucsb.edu/~airboy/cirrusrevolution.jpgclick here for an example).
See you all at the May fly-in!

Thanks for the great post!I allways in enjoy
a little left coast humor. Not a lot of people
will recognize those three important numbers
our patriots are holding up in your post. But after
the ‘uprising’ they wont forget.
I will make a ‘VALIANT’ effort to attend the
the unfly-in at the 'METROPOLITAN’smx airport.
I suppose I have to look up ‘smx’ to see what
it stands for.
greetings for now…dan #259…Q60

If for no other reason than having inspired this poster, Cirrus’s efforts over the years would have been worthwhile.
I will not stand in the shadows any longer for I am the one holding #264. I will stand up and be counted from now on! I will admit I was there for the great Cirrus fly in at SBA during April.

Dear Comrade Dan,
Glad you enjoyed the post! “SMX” is the Santa Maria, CA airport (http://www.aerochart.com/mapping/chart/aptrpt.cfm?A=7&id=SMXclick here). Hope you can make it in the Jurassic Cherokee!
Cheers,
Comrade Roger

Indeed - when I saw that poster the first time, I laughed so hard it hurt. Reportedly ditto for Kevin Moore.

Do you mean “having inspired the poster’s poster”, or “having inspired the poster which the poster of the poster posted”?
I’m so confused, my hound is running red in circles.
…or should I be referring to him as Chairman Moore now?
