What a great post Mike - you so eloquently put into words what many of us have found to be true with fellow pilots. Once you find someone is a pilot – the conversation takes care of itself.

i have a small recording studio. (bunch of roland gear, 2480CD, XV-5080 synth, sampling groovebox)…we could make a cirrus theme song or something. then we can ask garmin to burn it onto a chip and build it into the 430s that get put into cirrus planes. when the planes avionics first power up, it can play the theme song. whatcha think?

What about “Plastic People” by the Mothers of Invention?
Plastic is cool, but what about “Sky Pilot”. How high can you fly may get Cirrus to offer a turbo version.
