I have two Peltor 7004 headsets that I sometimes use for passengers. Actually, their noise attenuation and comfort are quite nearly as good as my Lightspeed 20XLs, and they are significantly lighter.
On a recent flight a passenger’s foot became entangled in the cord during exit from the plane and yanked it from its connection to the headset. I sent the headset–long out of warranty–back to Peltor with a letter explaining the circumstances and requesting repair and billing for it and no need to rush, thank you. Within two weeks (UPS ground both ways) the repaired headset arrived: new cord AND new earseals AND NO CHARGE!
