I received a gift subscription to Golf Tips Magazine and the first issue arrived today. I did a double-take when I saw page 101: a full-page ad for Cirrus with the demo 868CD in flight over a seaside golf course. Likely photoshop had something to do with this: the shadows of trees on the ground were completely inconsistent with the angle of sunlight on the plane…Nonetheless it represents aggressive marketing outside the regular venues of aviation-oriented publications, aimed at kindling interest among non-pilots, and I was delighted to see it!
