Columbias have had problems with CHT probes going bad, and I believe Cirrus’ have had some problem with that as well. A COPA member posted on the Lancair forums that a compound called STABILANT solved the problem. CAM has never heard of this stuff and neither has my A/P. Any info on this stuff, where to get it and whether TCM has any issues with it would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes, I used that stuff. It is very good, cleared up most of the intermittent problems.
