Beverly Hills GA friendly airport

I have to go to Beverly Hills and want to know where is the best place to fly into? I’ll be flying in from the east (Texas). Any help would be appreciated, and thanks in advance!

Santa Monica looks like the best. Take a look at this http://aviationtoolbox.org/old/nearby_airports.cgi? airport finder [/url=http://aviationtoolbox.org/old/nearby_airports.cgi?].

As others have pointed out, it is best to fly into the L.A. basin IFR. There is a VOR GPS A approach. SoCal will sometimes clear you a little high, so it is important to have the technique for getting down quickly in mind on this approach.

I second the vote for Santa Monica; it’s closest to Beverly Hills. Van Nuys is another good option. Either way, it’s a nice flight. Depending upon where you are starting from in TX, you might consider Albuquerque Double Eagle(AEG), Flagstaff, Arizona, and Kingman, Arizona as fuel stops.
