Avidyne EX5000

I’ve searched but not found the answer…

Once one has downloaded the engine file, how does one look at it?

Scott

There are a few options, SAVVY has a free viewer that is easy to use.

Thank you Hans…

Occasionally, I see folks posting in these forums graphs and such of engine data. How is that accomplished?

Best regards,

Scott

I know this is months late but the recent posts to this thread brought it back up on my screen, and just for future reference - YES you can download engine data on a G1 MFD only SR22. Assuming it’s an Avidyne, the process is pretty much what’s described in this thread already - no difference between the six-pack and glass Avidyne planes in that regard AFAIK. If you have an Arnav screen, I seem to recall it’s also possible but it’s been so long since I’ve used one, the details escape me.

Most are screenshots of the SAVVY web based viewer.

Another option is Flightdata.com. I like their presentation a little better than Savvy. Personal preference.

Flysto can also be used to look at engine data along with other flight parameters if it works with your data

The MFD data is no problem. It’s just a text (CSV) file that can be imported into an EXCEL spreadsheet. From there you can chart or plot or examine anything you want.

The output from the PFD is trickier. LOTS of data, and harder to interpret if you are not familiar with it.

Thanks to all for their responses!

Scott

Flight data can also be set to export to Savvy so that they get your data if you use them for analysis and maitenance.
