Has anyone seen the article in Feb Plane&Pilot about vortex generators (just under the SR22 photo on page 9)? They tested a 182 pre and post VG installation - and they found no reduction in cruise speed (in fact, a small increase). They measured better climb and stall speeds with the VGs as expected, but better cruise also!? Any ideas how the SR2X would react to VGs installed. Due to the laminar wing, wouldn’t you expect a significant drop in cruise? Has CD tested VGs at all?
