Hi All,
I am looking for a company that can completely rebuild the 24v vent blower motor from my Archer. The housing around the motor squirrel cage failed in a way that impeded it’s motion and stopped the thing cold, intermittently. The local motor shop says part of the armature melted and need to be rebuilt. He cannot locate anyone that works on things that small.
It would appear that Piper has caught on the the Cirrus game of outrageous markup on normally reasonable parts. Case in point: my friends in Vero Beach want $1785 for a new motor!!
So… do any of my fellow COPANs know of a company that will bring my fan motor back to life?
