Garmin today announced new software for the 500 and 400 gps units that will show a colored terrain warning feature. It will show terrain and obstcales that are in conflict with your alt. Upgrade of the software that is due by year end $500.00.
Sounds like a steal to me…Ed

Maybe I am missing something. Why would I pay $500 if my ARNAV already gives me that information?
