# Managing Private Messages

Can anyone point me toward info on how to manage Private Messages on this platform?

The old forums had “My Inbox” which I had semi-mastered. On this one, I have sent a couple of PMs and cannot find a record of them anywhere. I wonder whether they were actually sent.

You can get there by “double” clicking the message icon under your user menu:

Click Again:

Brings you here:

Then Use Inbox/sent to navigate

Alternatively: Use the keyboard shortcut: g,m

Unread messages will show as a number under your user icon.

Also, by default, PMs are sent to your email, which can also be replied too directly via email

Thank you Erik. I had been rooting around in there but would not have guessed the “double-click” secret.
