Hangar Paint

I have a galvanized metal hangar that I’ll be re-painting.

I’m concerned about paint adhesion, I want the paint to last as long as possible.
I know people who have repainted their hangar and the paint peels off after a
couple of years.

Any suggestions on surface prep. techniques and primer/paint to use would
be appreciated.

There are MANY companies that sell paint specifically for galvanized steel “barn roofing”.

Good preparation is the key to proper adhesion of any weathered surface.
