Fuel System Setup

I took a cue from one of Walt’s posts a few months back and had East Coast Aviation do a fuel flow calibration and cleanout of the injectors as part of a quasi-100 hour inspection. What a difference! While admittedly unscientific, I can feel a difference in takeoff (up to 70 kias sooner and quicker climb) and CHT is reduced.

Cruise speed is 3-4 kts quicker (I’ve never had TAS over 155) with a slightly higher fuel flow and its easier to start.
