For anyone else who plans to bring kids to the 2025 Migration, there is a huge list of activities on the Omni website that you can book (and is probably where my 8-year-old twins will be when I am in the sessions):

Not sure how far these activities may book out, so we will likely be making reservations sooner rather than later.

Oh, obviously they will only be enjoying the resort activities when not being entertained by “Uncle Jimmy” (aka @jglackin), who is really quite the herpetologist! :grinning_face:

Flight Participants at Migration
The schedule was emailed out yesterday, if you don’t see it in your inbox please reach out.

I also have information about transportation to and from the airport. See below.

Thursday:
Omni Pickup 7:30am
Bent Wing Pickup 11:00am

Omni Pickup 12:30pm
Bent Wing Pickup 4:00pm

Friday:

Omni Pickup 12:30pm
Bent Wing Pickup 4:00pm

Saturday:

Omni Pickup 12:45pm (larger transportation to include the COPA Formation Group)
Bent Wing Pickup 4:00pm

Sunday:

Omni Pickup 9:30am
Bent Wing Pickup 1:00pm

All pickups at Omni are in the front drive area. We have signage for up front that will guide attendees there.

Adam,
We brought our boys to Amelia Island the last time Migration was held there. The hotel has all sorts of activities for kids. And I’m pretty sure there is kid’s camp available through the hotel. While the event doesn’t have kid activities the hotel more than made up for it.

Yes there are shuttles operating to/from the airport and resort. Shuttle info here.

For those of us getting in at odd times (Fri AM) is it easy to get an Uber from airport to the hotel?

My experience with Uber hasn’t been that great at FHB. Might could try a scheduled Uber pickup.

@Paul_Constantine This has been my experience also. There will be transportation from Omni to JAX on Sunday morning (that’s on the Migration website linked above). But from JAX to Omni on arrival, you shouldn’t have any issue getting a ride to the resort using Uber/Lyft/Taxi service.

If we have sent out form to Bent Wings for arrival and parking, should we have received anything back from them as of yet?

Yes. Look in your junk folder. That’s where I found mine.

Yes. They sent me a cc auth form. After I returned that, they sent me a PPR arrival number.

What is the significance of the PPR number? Are you supposed to mention that somewhere?

I’m not sure if you’ll have to mention it to anyone, but you need it in order to secure a parking spot.

I’ve been watching Windy. Seems like the potential bad weather around southern SC and Savannah is lower and might be able to fly over at 8 or 10K.
