I suspect you do understand the point, which I indicated with title of my earlier post: “Common Link”… the eye of the beholder.
Those who believe that there is no common link will find none.
Those who believe that the two events had the same root cause, will not be swayed from their position.
FWIW, so far, I’m in the first group. I see no reasonable similarity between the causes of these two events.
