Those who are coming to AOPA with a few hours to spare might be interested in visiting the Franklin Institure in Philadelphia. “The Franklin Air Show” opened 10/18 & is a 5000’ s/f exhibit featuring a Wright 1911 Model B Flyer, the most intact Wright airplane remaining in the world. The Institure is like a miniature Smithsonian & has numerous other great exhibits . W W W .FI. EDU

I grew up in NE Philly. Moved to Va. in '83. The Franklin Institute was an every 2-3 year event for our family.
Thanks for the reminder…haven’t been there in 20 big ones!
