Hi I’m new here and a student pilot. I’m learning in a 20 and thinking of ordering a 22. For my training purposes, I wanted to see if anyone knows what the air refresh rate is in an SR and if they have hepa filters. From what I understand the commerical guys have a very sophisticated system that refreshes many times per hour which limits the distance that viral particles can travel. Wondering what the SR has in comparison. Many thanks and best wishes for your good health.
The SR is not pressurized so there is no air recirculation. With the vents open you are constantly blowing new fresh air from the outside world. Only when you have the air conditioning system on recirc mode do you ever recycle cabin air.
In summary, the air needs no filtering a# it constantly refreshes.
